ZL1 is a 6.2 V8. It's supercharged. Those MPG numbers are for auto trans ZL1.

87 vs 93 octane makes very little difference, in most cases

2014 is still a 5th gen. They're just doing a minor restyling of the car.

I wouldn't doubt that the 2014 or 2015 vehicles have something new that would entice buyers to purchase rather than holding out for a 2016.

1.What numbers are wrong?
3. ZL1 has heat soak issues, why wouldn't this car?
4. LOL at you for thinking it does
5. You asked why I'm against it, sound of the engine is a big reason.

Funny, but the stock sound of my (past) '10 SS was none existent. My current 2.5 L WRX with cat back sounds sweet. "V8 engine sound" means nothing without the proper exhaust to accompany it.

even if GM 2014 base model pricing is reasonable, early dealer 'mark-ups' will not...
