I wouldn't worry too much. It is still awhile away and I am sure a bunch of rooms are going to open up. Things come up and people have to cancel.

The LaQuinta right off the highway is reasonably priced. I stayed there for Holley LSfest with some of the OUSCI participants. It was quite clean and a decent free breakfast.

Yeah man there are a ton of local hotels that still have room all very close to the Host hotel and action. STAYBRIDGE Hotel, Drury Inn, La Quinta, the other Holiday Inn by the mall... Just Google Bowling Green Hotels.
But remember, people do cancel so keeping checking the main three and something may open up.
