As you said , don't got to have first , no need a car right now [ have some wheels ] , that's a no brainer , if it's NOT exactly what you want , i would just seat tight and wait .

Wow, I guess I'll be getting a call. I have the CF hood (B92) and the stripe (DSW).

U are exactly where I was some (IBM/CF insert etc) 3wks ago. I decided to wait and let the dust settle. Order cancelled.
Good luck but I'm pretty sure u know the answer to this one take the money and sit tight. It seems our fellow C5 Brethren agree too. Best! |

This right here! I wouldn't settle. Too big of an investment to not get what you want. I know I am waiting for CRT whenever that may be.

I agree the color selections are pathetic on ZL1's. I too was looking forward to the Exposed CF insert and was bummed when it became "Constrained". If it does not feel right don't get it, wait for 2013 and hopefully things will be better. Of course there will be 2014 to consider then..

Same boat as you but regardless of what happens I'm getting a 2013 ZL1, unless 2014 is just too good to pass up haha

All you catz waiting till '13 for more colors, more HP, etc dont hold your breath. Ordering opens in June supposedly for MY '13 and I dont see GM doing more testing for "reliability" on new parts to meet warranty concerns with such little time. Remember they still need to sort out these current issues & '13 will have the vert ZL1 to worry about too so GM's plate seems quite full already!
But to answer the OP, go with your gut and if you are only 90% satisfied don't buy it! |
