Kevin Harts Cuda and lawsuits
I am sure most saw or read the fate of what happen to Kevin Hart and tye other 2 occupants.
Now comes law suites and who is responsible. I think the driver is totally in the fault but its Kevin's car and his responsibility. Not so easy when it comes to celebrities and how it will wash our. Here is the kicker.. Lawyers are going after the car builder in the terms that the car should have had the necessary safety systems in the car. I think that wont fly but who knows. My take if this can change the game for restro mods for the masses. I also heard that CHP is taking the initiative to push for bringing any older mods to a accepted safety standard such airbags seatbelts etc. Knowing this...stupid lawmakers in California will push this. Most hate in California what we most love in the car community is good looking nice cars with some horse power. Restro mods are cool and its the owner responsibility what he or she does with it. I look at it as.. Dont Tread on Me.. Be able to take on the responsibility and not blame or sue someone else when you allowed another guy lose control and hurt not only you but others. But who am I.. just hate its going after all and the subgroup that loves moded cars and its glory. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/s...ts-137693.html |

Who would of thought that California the epicenter of the hot rods of American expression would be supressed of the best place to be of what was happening in any genre of American spirit.
I still remember reading all the car magazines and all the cool movies of the 50s to 70s. Same feeling of freedom on seeing the masses on cool motorcycles. I only dreamed of this life as a kid in South Carolina. Now I have been here and done that type thing. Its not so cool anymore. My money and freedoms seems tarnished now with current state of affairs in California. |

It's inevitable, have to have someone to blame, can't be my fault.

Did I miss where the driver made people get into the car at gunpoint?
I'm all for LEGIT lawsuits but people need to take some f^cking personal responsibility FFS.

Suing the company who built the car is pointless. What if it was a bone stock, 6-cylinder factory car? Would the lack of safety devices matter then? These cars came with only lap belts, no rollover protection, had a lack of crash reinforcement, etc. It's a different generation of vehicle and anyone in the market for an older car should understand the risk.
Cars don't kill people. People kill people.

the only state that would even entertain the idea of a lawsuit for this is The PEOPLES REPUBLIC of COMMIEFONIA.
