first timer

So, I ordered my 2LT/RS 1 month ago and i still have a month of wait. My dealer told me it would start to be produced on March 1st, and will be delivered around April 1st. My order date is Feb.6th is I remember.

I have been struggling with getting a 2SS after I placed my order. But considering a 10000 - 13000 difference in price and all future cost I'm gonna stick with my 2LT.

One thing that bothers me the most is the brakes on the V6. When i test drove it, the point of brake is really low if u know what i mean....like the brake would start working only after it has been pressed half way. not like some other cars I have driven which the car would slow down significantly just by tapping the brake. So anyone has suggestions to this problem?

Welcome to the site! Congrats on your order! What color did you order?

This is a great place for the long wait...Maybe someone with a V6 can address the brake issues.

Good luck!

no suggestions on the problem, but if you get teh 2LT/RS you can upgrade the brakes to the brembos. Saw a thread on this, and the person said it all just bolted on. He got a complete kit from someone that upgraded their brembos to an even better braking system.

i found some aftermarket brembos but they are all around 10000$ might as well just get a 2SS

Congrats on yopur order, i know exactly what your talking about and you really loose confidence in your brakes with the v6 even though they have great braking power. Im hoping there will be a quick fix for this. Theres a thread in the maintence section about this.

And TJ91 can tell you the LT gets the same gas mileage as an SS.
Right Dennis?

serious? thats the best i could do but then again im 18. My brother was paying 575 for his stang when he was 18, and when he turned 21, it dropped to about 240, so 200 is a good deal for you
