Smoked Tail Lamps 2018 SS

Anyone know a place that still has the authentic GM part for smoked tail lamps in stock? Seems pretty much everywhere is sold out.

GM discontinued it... insane, what will 2017-2018 1LE owners do if any of the LEDs go out in theirs?

16-18 SS1LE and ZL1 run them. MY SS is running ZL1 smoked lenses.
Accidents? Bulb failure?
Wtf?

I guess its a good thing I kept my originals. Worst case scenario I can tint them if I had to put the back in. The car looks so much better with the smoked lenses. It went from foofoo red and lame to badass

ACS Composite appears to still have them. They will run you $700 though. I guess it depends how bad you want them. I'd just stay stock for that price.

Keep an eye on eBay. I lucked out with a used set that looked brand new and came in the original GM box. People are holding on to them and jacking up the price when they decide to sell them. It's all about supply and demand.

The GM smoked 3rd brake light is out of stock at some places too. It's not as hard to find as the tail lights, but I'd suggest you not wait too long on getting one if you want one. I believe they are now priced twice as much as they once were. I got my light from ACS Composite via Amazon for $120.

Go aftermarket with one of the nice sets on the market or swap to 2019.

What brand are these from ACS? Are they the OEM ones or aftermarket?

These are most likely OEM dark taillights from GM. The pictures are stock photos of the genuine parts as far as I can tell.

FYI while the "package" with part number 84136777 was discontinued, you may be able to buy left and right assemblies separately (84136775 and 84136776), I do see them in online catalogs. As always, double check part numbers before you buy.

I’m currently looking too. I might go with ************ next gen speed (2019 updated ones) that don’t flash when the brakes are hit.

This is the answer, the accessory pair package was discontinued by GM but are still available individually from GM dealers/parts houses.

This place has them (84136775 & 84136776) for $652 + shipping. That's the cheapest price I've found so far. I would call your local dealer to see if they will match the online price. I don't think the dealers charge for shipping.

My '20 has them. Have you checked Chevy's site?
