ZL1 1LE spare parts in trunk. Install or not
When i picked up my car from dealer these two plastic lower control arm covers were in trunk. Asked dealer if they were suppose to be installed. They had no clue. Anyone have a clue what they do and are they suppose to be on?
Thanks in advance

I believe they are for aero and should have been installed as part of the PDI.

I have them on my rear lower control arms. I have no idea if the factory or the dealer installed them.

They protect the control arms from debris.

Do they scrap the ground at all? I guess you really cant see them once installed?
Let me know when you can. Happy Thanksgiving.

They hug the control arm. They wont scrape unless the wheel falls off.

Slightly off topic, but mine had all these in the trunk. No mention in the owners manual, there was a little blurb on installing the air dams for less lift on the front with a picture showing the two flat pieces, but nothing on the rest. Thoughts?

I think the gist of those is you want to install all of them, and then the straight pieces should be taken off when at the track.
