Ah. Ok. Yeah, the shifter feels good. Just takes some getting used to that extra gear.

When you're sitting still, if you are in 7th, R is locked out too which seems odd. Sure, there's little practical reason you'd do the shift (unless you just stopped in 7th and needed to reverse) but it seemed odd to me is all. You can go 5th or 6th to R, but not 7th.

Like most Tremec TR-6060 related transmissions (the TR-6070 we have is very closely related), 1-2 can be less smooth than other shifts too, but that's been a constant in all the Tremecs I've owned or driven.

I had that experience this evening. I think the road was a little moist, plus I haven't driven a manual in a few years. But, it stuck pretty good and I got going pretty fast. Still gotta break it in right...so I never hit 7th.

Y'all will get the hang of her the more you are behind the wheel!

It took me some time going from a 4speed '69 427 to the '14 7speed but after a few shifts in that baby, oh wow!! The sound and feel of the road was absolutely amazing!

The Velocity Yellow is gorgeous and right now should be driven slow so that all the onlookers can take her picture. Smile

the clutch is real nice.. grabs nice and hard.. spins 2nds.. and a good spin on 3rd when shifting.. went out for cruise today.. practice launches and power shifting for track tomorrow.. didnt have any problems.. but computer even in wet launch control mode still spins whole first gear and alot of 2nd.. only got 4.6 to 4.8 0-60mph..
so made one attempt me launching.. launched very easy but still after 3K rpms starts spinning and keeps spinning in 2nd LoL .. got a 4.3sec 0-60 in just one attempt .. i imagine I do alot more launches I will get that down.. so from standing still GM's advertised 4.1 sec 0-60 (3.8 with 1ft roll out) is very attainable..
