But with a T you share the section of the tube and probably have a restricted succion...
Prefer to have an extra succion source on the big Intake, flow will be better.

Finished installing the new pcv valve. The hardest part is over! Good thing I'm installing this sooner than later. There was a ton of oil underneath the lid and my car only has 1500 miles. I used a file on the brass nipple and some light shavings fell into the nipple. I drained most of the particles out but there might be a few particles left in the tube. Can this impact the motor?

Doubtful, the direction of travel with the new diverter is toward the catch can.
