E85 Dyno Numbers

Just had my 2017 Camaro 2SS dyno tuned on Wednesday. It has a Rotofab intake and a Lethal Garage E85 kit. Has the factory NPP exhaust and the 8-speed auto.

Had it tuned by David Griffin of GriffTuned LLC just outside of Indianapolis.

Some nice gains:

Stock = 373 HP, 390 TQ.

93 Octane Tune = 394 HP, 417 TQ.

E85 Tune = 417 HP, 441 TQ.

Total gain of 44 HP, 51 TQ over stock. Lots of area under the curve gained.

Dyno graph:

Thanks for posting, my car will be similar with the factory exhaust but I'll do a TB and the LT2 intake along with the E85.

Good to see those #'s

I would expect you to see 20 or so more HP/TQ with the LT2 intake and TB with E85. Amazing how much these engines gain with simple bolt-ons.

Agree 100% with that educated guess. That's what I'm thinking as well.

Some good numbers and it was one of my best mods on my C7. Love the smell and saving
a buck a gallon isn't bad either. I did see a reduction in mpg but still not that bad.

Here’s mine. Haven’t posted it before because they transposed it. The “baseline” is the E85 tune, run 2 is the 93 octane tune with headers before the E85 tune was done. Don’t have numbers before headers.

Was the blue line from installing the Rotofab plus tuning with 93 gas in the tank?

Yes, blue line is Rotofab with 93 octane.

E85 tune was actually at E67. Tuner said that once you are at E60 or above there really isn't any benefit of a higher ethanol percentage in the tank. So I am going to shoot for E65 at fill-ups just for a bit of a margin for max power. Should help gas mileage a little.
