A rumor on Mustang6g says a larger displacement V8 with the new generation 2.6 liter blower. With how the Voodoo heads respond to boost, I wouldn't be surprised to see mid 700s out of it.

94mm bore - by using the PTWA ala Voodoo
97.4mm stroke - up (4.7mm) from 92.7mm in the current Coyote and . . .

Boom, 330ci or 5.4L.

Sounds reasonable.

That video sounded like a CPC, instead of a FPC like the Voodoo.

Does anyone feel slighted

Does anyone else feel slighted that our ZL1 will once again the lowest power of the three, ZL1, the hellcat, and the GT500?

No because I knew that would be the case.

Exactly, if you spend all your time thinking about what's coming out next, you'll never get to enjoy your toys.

Definitely a CPC set-up.

Central Processing Capability?
Chicago Police Charger?
Cervical Prosthetic Cruiser?
Climate Prediction Center?
Cost Per Click?
Contract Pharmaceutical Corporation?
Cupcakes Pancakes Crepes?

I like the last one best. Everyone should eat more crepes.

I do enjoy crepes though.

Hmm, not to wait

I actually wasn't saying to wait, its just that the darn Corvette always holds us back. Though I am hopeful that it wont take much to get another 100 hp out of it.

Don't know, I love that new ZL1, it is definitely a complete awesome package and the new looks grow on me everyday. Saw a beautiful white SS on the street. I think it looks better on the street than in photos.

But I would like to see 750 at the Crank. When you translate that to wheel power it gives you just about all you can handle on the street.

This is not a downer on the ZL1, just an opinion.

If you don't say "I love crepes" I will break your arm.

Could you explain this for me please? Don't misunderstand, I'm not judging you or anything. I just don't know what you mean by this. I have no mods on my 1LE so it's at 429 or whatever stock at the crank. The only time I ever feel underpowered is at the track when I'm right up a cars rear bumper in a turn and then the same car pulls on me in the straight. Where on the street is 750 the right number?

Thanks
