Question about undercarriage

So I was installing my splitter and wheels today and when I jacked the car up I noticed a dent underneath and I dont know what this part is called. I circled it on the picture. Is it supposed to be dented? Other side wasnt. Is there a part number for it?

no its not supposed to be dented. that if from someone putting a jack stand were they should not have. the pinch welds are the only part of the car that can support the weight of the car. it will be fine. but get some ZL1 Addons lift pads. they are the only way to lift the car without damage. https://zl1addons.com/collections/ca...-on-for-camaro. as far as putting the car on jack stands there is no place to put them. so get 4 of these too https://zl1addons.com/collections/ac...ton-floor-jack and 4 of these https://www.harborfreight.com/15-ton...ump-60569.html

I should have bought a ZL1

Luis, don’t worry about replacing the part as it is just slightly dented and on the underside of the car where no one can see. Spend the money on more mods for your Camaro! My advice..

I have just checked under my new ZL1 that I have just picked up last wednesday and I see same kind of very small bend on each side almost symetrical.
I have never lifted my vehicle nor went to a dealer, I only have 400mi on the car.
Probably dealer lifted there when they did their prep work....

As warned many times before, I havent been to any dealer (4 so far) so far that has any idea how to properly lift a camaro. To them its just another car, and they lift it by any means they would normally use.
