Added e and exceeded my hp goal

I would have to think the numbers would have been higher if my MAT numbers weren't so high. Think my final dyno run had MAT Temps in the 160s, but still yielded 848hp/792tq on e50. On a normal basis I will keep it at e30 or e40. This is with stock high side. Think he said inj pw was 6.2 or 6.3 on the e50. My guess at e30 or e40 I will be 6 or less. Now I can phase out my boostane. Today the car didn't have any added, but I still have nearly 4 gallons left to use up, so will add some over the next several months. The one thing I forgot to ask him was how well did the low side pressure hold up.

38% cam, dsx aux low side, and Lingenfelter High flow check valve.

His tuner targets .90 lambda...so keep that in mind. @ .82 like many tuners target he wouldn't be able to run any E on his setup.

Nice gains but i dont know anyone who tunes lt4's this lean or has injector pulse width that high. 6.2, 6.3 inj pw is very high.

something I noticed, his gauges while tuning are set to afr rather than Lambda. He likes to run LT4s at 13:1. On the street I was looking at my gauge in afr and it was 12.7 to 13.3 ..so I guess 13.0 avg. For me, I have been trying to use Lambda now.

On 93 my pw was 5.0. Keep in mind that the 6.2/3 was at 50% mix which I don't plan to run. I will do a log at both e30 and e40.

Curious to what afr/ lambda Pray uses. When I looked at some dyno runs on YouTube it looked as he was between 12.7 and 13.0

Well..he has tuned many at 13 across the country..unfortunately I haven't seen any failure rates published by his tuning or anyone else for that matter that shows it was a lean failure. If you have any and they show what afr or lambda it was at on a LT4 let me know. Many online dyno videos don't show the afr/ lambda at all.

Wonder if this is still true as I found this written in 2017:
Dynojet software uses 14.7:1 air fuel ratio to determine Lambda 1.00. If the fuel has oxygen in it as does e10 (3.5%), then you must factor in .959, which brings a 13:1 air fuel ratio down to 12.5:1.

How much e do u think u will run? Even though he tuned mine at e50 I only plan to run e30 most of the time. I plan to do a log once I get down to e30.

Oh wow, ya mine says he goes for .80-.82. Makes sense, I had e37% and pw shot thru the roof for a second. Now I'm at 20-25% and the car is happy
