Leather stitching color
Just saw a ZL1 on a used car lot and the seat leather stitching matched the exterior paint color (dark red/maroon). Was this factory or is this a case of someone dying the stitching to match? It looked nice.

Got it - thanks. Been thinking about doing the dye thing to my stitching and seeing this car today has made me want to do it even more. I would be doing orange, and my only hesitation is - does it fade over time? If anyone that has done this and can speak to how it holds up would like to share their experience, I'd appreciate it.

Hobby lobby has what I used on mine red car,red stitching .wifes car blue stitching on grey car...they're fabricMate dye ink markers, they come in all colors...very easy to do and fast..takes about 1 1/2 pens for everything, steering wheel and console, head rest....has not worn or faded in a year..
Highly recommend doing this.. |
