I stopped at a dealer and asked where all the Camaros were...the idiot looked at me with a straight face and said.....they sold them all.

Lol well my dealer had 2 camaros on the lot and they were gone the next month. So there could have been some truth to that. They sold all 2 of them haha

Been thinking about this for a long time now, but there is no crystal ball to see the future with. If GM doesn't start producing many Camaros again, and they stop production after this year I can definitely see these cars holding their value well. That's good for me.

That is...unless the economy completely goes in the crapper and nobody wants to buy a sports car at all.

Don't want to be that guy but it looks like the latter is probably going to happen based on signs I have seen so far.

They still haven't made anything official. GM's shameless on high dollar stuff. CT5V-BW is getting a refresh. If they wanted, they could probably give the ZL1s a Trans Am refresh (just not quite a Pontiac). Other trims carry/limp forward, get a new interior.

Think I got lucky on my deal.

2019 Camaro SS 1SS 6MT w/18.7k miles. CPO and still under all factory warranties for only $33k OTD. Plus, they gave me $20k for my Z in trade, so really I only paid $13k for a 2019 Camaro SS. Feeling blessed ngl.

that's interesting the CT5 BlackWing is getting a refresh, i'd think that means they are going to produce it more than a few years more, thus the alpha II continues at Lansing plant?

You got a good deal, for sure. The 2SS'/ZL1s are holding their value highest. The 19s seem to hold value least because some of them are just ugly, some of them look good. At any rate, any SS right now in that kind of shape for under $35K is a heck of a deal. And you did a huge upgrade going from a Z.

Thanks, I agree about the looks. For the 19's it's really about getting the right color scheme for the blacked out front bumper bar to flow with the rest of the car.

Mine is Garnet Red Tintcoat, so the dark red and black flow really well I think and it has black wheels too.
It's got a sinister look, wife even jokes that its the Sith (red n black) mobile and I should have my garage play the theme song "The Imperial March" from Star Wars every time it opens

For those curious pic attached.

""Also 4 or 5 dealers in my area within about 35 or 40 miles and not 1 Camaro on the lot, hardly no cars but only trucks. Something is up but not sure what.""

Just heard GM closed a truck plant for a week to keep dealer inventory levels lower to keep prices up.

That is not a way to do business.

Thats a great deal. If I could've found that I would've cancelled my order. Enjoy.

For consumers, the manual transmission RWD market is narrowing with each year, which means more sales for the remaining models. With Dodge discontinuing the Challenger and the Charger, and Ford now offering Ecoboost only in automatic, we may be seeing a small surge in demand for the Camaro which will only increase next year.

Add to that the headlines about ICE cars being discontinued and these create favourable market conditions. Last year the other pony cars outsold Camaro by a big margin, but that was partially due to supply constraints on the Camaro. Would be interested to see the stats this year.
