I got locked out of C5 for a bit. Got logged out somehow (I did not log out) & could not remember my password. Also the recovery email had been my work email which I obviously don't have any more. Thanks to being friends with a mod on Facebook, I'm back in! That would have been a tragedy. Spring weather must have some folks busy. Quiet in here.

Having thoughts about trading my dad's truck. We have started having to put a good bit of $ into it, more likely to come & Mike is no longer able to do work on it so labor is killer. Makes me very sad to consider it, but also need to be practical as it is Mike's daily. Looking at GMC, Chevy & Nissan. (I know, trader again with the Nissan thing). But you can get much more for the $ & lifetime drivetrain warranty is tough to beat especially at our age. Lots of good deals out there on all 3 brands right now. Tough to decide.

GEEZERSS

What U think that when u were a junior (below, 25) and the gray haired guy had no reason to own a car with that horsepower potential. They should just as well drive it to a cemetary. Own 2011 2SS Vert. Great ride.

Warm and dry enough to get the cars out for a run last weekend. Put about 300 miles on the new corvette. Still have the temporary tags on it so I can run the USA 1 plate from the 1970’s. I am ready for warmer weather.

Looks great John! As for warm weather I was in Daytona last weekend for the Spring Turkey Run car show and got sunburned! My forehead is peeling today.

Trick - that early sun on that tender head is always a problem. How did your surgery turn out. Everything on the mend ok ??

Richard - you have the best part of their winters nap over with. It will not be long now. I got the cars out in December but could not in January or February.

Got a guy set up to replace the convertible top on the 57 corvette. Should be able to get some nice pictures with the new one. They will look like family: white with red interior and black tops.

John
