Interior Updates
firstly......A big shout out and F#*K YOU to photobucket for trying to charge me $400 a year to share images....\
Onto the weight savings.... removed the rear seatbacks.... 18.5 lbs used wetsuit material and a good fabricator to have this made... https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw...lEwS2l1aHpuc2c only weighs 2.05 lbs total savings 16.5 lbs.... I will probably have the seat bottoms removed since I expected the seatback to weigh closer to 25 lbs... Also added some bolstering to soften the armrest and match it to seats....

Im guessing you have the airbag light on. You going to try to find a fix? Ive been doing a lot of digging and the passenger side is a real problem.
BTW awesome build. Best of luck. |

Honestly I never notice it.... I run the HUD with full info...the only time I ever look down at the gauges is for a fuel range check or an alert pop up... The HUD is a wonderful thing...

So.... one thing I know is my mind works best in the middle of the night....
As you know, I'm seriously considering an engine build in the next year or so to get me a st above 500 RWHP... or roughly 565-575 at the crank... Now... the last thing I want to do is create a car that can't handle its power... so my mind has been storming... going over downforce numbers.... The ultimate form of this car may just be a street legal version of the GT.4R " GT4" ? Stay tuned....

For sure the 1LE can handle the power. It's the same suspension as the ZL1, and that has no trouble staying composed at and past 650HP, even with the added front weight handicap.
I'm right there with you; a GT4 street car will also be a formidable track-day weapon.

If you do any Aero what so ever, I would stick with the ZL1 1LE aero setup. Its the only thing proven and balanced correctly that you are going to be able to purchase off the shelf. The rest of the stuff may look cool and fit, but what are you really buying into? If anyone gets my money its going to be aero components that are wind-tunnel tested, chevy engineer approved and made specifically for this car. ZL1 1LE all the way. Unless of course you are some aerospace engineer who understands what the hell he is doing.

You do known that the light represents that NONE of your airbags are working, not just the disconnected ones.

The bladder will have to be taken from the OEM seats as well and then put in the racing seats. Yes, it's a hassle however I had a proper harness setup so in the case of a collision I would depend on the harness instead of the airbags. Without a harness bar/cage setup, it would be dangerous since the airbags are inoperable. |

ZL1 1LE Wheel and tire package ( summer DD)
so.... I did a thing the other week....
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E1q...ew?usp=sharing Considering my car weighs about 200 lbs less than a ZL1 1LE... I went slightly smaller on the rubber while matching the ZL1 1LE wheels size of 11" wide on the front and 12" wide on the rear all in 19" diameter Michelin Pilot 4s in 295/30 front and 305/30 rear ( might go to 315 next go) I wanted a good amount of sidewall preloading as I really noticed how sharp the turn in was with the winter PA4's 285's which had a narrower width than the original PSS's 285's. I will post up the weights next week when they're delivered right before mounting. BC Forged RZ23's ( 19" x 11", 19" x 12") should weigh about 24 lbs or so... They're also knurled on the inside like the Z28 had to increase grip on the tire at high G loads... At this point the car is ready to accept the power additions I am planning in Spring 2019. Will probably go with the Kaizenspeed 565N package and perhaps go for a lighter exhaust option like MBRP with long tubes so I can shed a further 40 lbs and get myself close to 3600 lbs with a full tank of gas and 500+hp at the rear wheels... Thanks again to Paul at PK Auto Design for another great set of aluminum forged one piece lightweight custom wheels.

Any pics of the BC Forged wheels on your car? Very nice! Thinking about a vaguely reminiscent style for my car - the VS Forged VS14. Similar spoke detail, although more spokes. Incidentally, I also like your VS03s. I stumbled upon the image of your car on the lift with those wheels via Google Image search not realizing that you were on the forums.
