Most case's like these cops wont waste their time showing up. With everything saying it is straight from the factory the ticket will most likely go away. Sucks you have to waste your time because a cop of 6 years thinks he know everything about aftermarket exhaust . You'll be good OP just move out of Cali to a nicer more open minded state and you won't have to worry about it haha.

Best regards,

I am guessing that the officer was a a slow night. Please let us know what the end result of this issue is. I am curious.

I pulled into my local Dairy Queen one evening and I was gearing down. 2 Cops gave me that "look."
I guarantee it was from the popping and cracking from the decel.

I'm NPP and fuse pulled.

Know the "Look" well ... each day I drive in front of police station during shift change early a.m., where there is cross walk I slow down and the decel pop usually causes the officers to turn their heads - sometimes I go to neutral to quite it down if it looks like may need to stop.

Anyway to make a long story short my exhaust is not modified. I have not done a single thing to it and the only time all 4 wheels have been off the ground is when it is being serviced. So what can I do? Or how should I handle this situation?, the car does sound great, but that's just how came from factory. I purchased it brand new with 7 miles on the odometer.
Additional info I live I. California, an I was not driving like a hoonigan when I got pulled over.
What is the statue on the ticket you're charged with?

Each officer should have specific court days, every ticket they write for like 2 weeks all show up the same day. So he should be there.
