Exactly where I thought it would land for price, I think I posted that somewhere in one of these ZL1 1LE threads.
Before you buy the car, do what I did, have someone take you for a ride in a Z28 with the multimatic suspension. Going over bumps and cracks in the road wasn't bad on the front end, but when the rear end goes over the bumps there's a pretty solid wack. If I understand it, the Z28 also has cushioned spring mounts to the body where the ZL1 1LE will not, that will also add harshness. I don't do enough track days to warrant the 1LE, but was definitely leaning that direction until I rode in a Z28. I knew that would not be a fun ride driving long distances (which I will do), especially here in the upper midwest with our crappy roads. So I decided to go with the standard ZL1 instead. Awesome price though, with gas guzzler and a couple options (PDR and maybe NAV) you would be around $73K |

Im new to the Chevy game, Are the Chevy dealers as bad a Ford when it comes to markups? I had to wait and find a used 350 a little below msrp because all the dealers near me wanted 10 to 15k over.

Just curious, is anyone not going to get PDR option? I guess someone could save $1300 if they truly have no need for it.

So how many of these are being built? Have dealer claiming 120 but I've read 750.

All I know is dealers are free to add ADM as they see fit, it's their call. The bad actors usually get most of the notoriety, the good guys usually go unnoticed. We'll know soon enough about ADM. To me it's a phantom that still works in the dealer's favor....Even if they don't charge ADM, you're made to feel like you've won something buy paying full MSRP...lol...You sure showed them how to negotiate!...lol... No matter how one is bought or sold, it's none of my business. As long as everyone's happy that's all that matters, and it's not for me to judge how anyone spends their money, ADM, MSRP, discounts or not. Back to topic....The manufacturer's 1LE option price seems more than fair. Last edited by 90503; 05-17-2017 at 05:17 PM. |

Pricing makes the Z/28 look like a really bad deal (when new). Damn. I'd have lost a bet on that I was thinking Z/28 price or more, especially with that CF wing on the back. GM pumps out a bunch of LT4 engines now (Z06, CTS-V, ZL1 and now this) so that I'm sure kept costs down compared to shoving an LS7 in it.

I hope all y'all sell your ZL1s to get one of these, as then I'll be able to pick up a lightly used one on the cheap.

Canadian pricing should have this LESS than a Z/28 when it was here.
That is pretty Krazy! Should be just under $80K Canadian Right now $62USD or $69CDN for a ZL1. Most likely $78CDN for the 1LE. Z/28 were $82 CDN new
