2017 Grand Sport Discussions
So, I'm curious why it doesn't seem like there is much discussion about the upcoming Grand Sport.
I really like how it looks and I like the middle ground it will be in. All the suspension, looks, and aero of a Z06, but without the supercharged engine. I'm wondering why there isn't a separate sub section on the corvette forum for the Grand Sport when the Camaro equivalent (1LE) has sub sections on both the Camaro5 and Camaro6 forums. It would be nice to see a little more discussion regarding the Grand Sport as I'm really considering waiting for another year and trying to save money to move into a Grand Sport from my 1LE. Here's hoping to see more discussions about the new GS!

I'm sure if there was enough "internet traffic" here to support it they would have it.

I (personally) don't really understand the Grand Sport. It lacks the budget pricing of the base Stingray or Z51, while also lacking the power of the supercharged LT4.
For the $$, you're easily into discounted Z06 territory...so why not just buy a Z06? Don't get me wrong...I think the GS is a great looking Corvette...just not a great value. |

Saw my first Grand Sport in person today (2 of them actually!!) I took some comparison pics with a Grand Sport next to a Stingray to view the differences in the fender flares/widths. The blue car is the Grand Sport and the Red car is a Stingray w/Z51.
Just thought I would share a few pics!
