6th Annual AAA Employee Car Show
Yesterday my job had their 6th Annual Employee Car show. This is a car show open to AAA employees and friends/family. I decided to register my ZL1 since I knew nobody else would bring one; in fact there was only one other participant with a 5th Gen Camaro and it was a '12 2SS model. I got lots of looks and people coming up to me asking questions about the ZL1 which was cool
 . There was voting in many different categories ranging from: "BEST STOCK/SHOWROOM CONDITION"; "MOST LIKELY to GET a TICKET"; "BEST RACECAR"; and "PLAYGROUND BULLY". I was told I had quite a few votes in some of the obvious categories, but unfortunately didn't win anything. But I still had lots of fun and got a goodie bag with some microfiber cloths, car cleaning products, and other stuff. There were some very nice cars in attendance--ranging from "CLASSIC BUMBLEBEE" (1969 Camaro RS) to a FORD GT, and some tricked out Old School Classics and drag cars. John Force & Robert Hight (drag racing legends) were there to sign autographs and stuff, I would have had them sign my engine cover but they're Ford guys  Anyway, here's a few photos from the event (sorry for camera phone quality): Last edited by IcePick06; 06-24-2012 at 06:22 PM. |

Some really nice cars there...but I have one question. The red Viper is a GTS coupe...the tag on that engine said it was a 1993 R/T....the first coupes appeared in 1996...so did the guy do a body conversion?
