Now That the numbers are out now what?

For those who have an order placed, what are your plans now that the numbers have been released? Keep it, cancel it and hope for 2013 upgrade or go down a different avenue?

For me my orders stand. This car does everything I need it to do which is take a turn! Yes, for my autox events I would have liked it lighter but I think it will make up for that in time trial racing.

I seriously thought about a new z06 but I would hate to buy a car that will be completely revised in 2013.

So what's your final decision?

You can sit around and talk about numbers or you can be out putting up numbers of your own...GM said that the auto goes 12.00 that means it should be closer to mid 11"s to us (Stock)..... More than enough for another daily driver. Even more excited than ever now....Atco here we come Live for today

I am still happy I have my order in. I have always wanted the top of the line Camaro, and although a Corvette is neck and neck with a ZL1, I prefer a fully optioned Camaro over the Vette. A Mustang Boss 302 was never an option for me either.

Still in and I still believe it will do better than the Mustang

For me the car is still everything I ever hoped it would be. It is a far more talented car than I am a driver. It will be my first Camaro and my most anticipated vehicle ever. My only wish is that Chevy offer the Exposed Hood Insert and Crystal Red paint at the same time so I can actually order my car.

I am so glad that it beat the Boss 302LS around the track by 2.45 seconds per lap. I wish I knew how to go back and look up all of those on here that said that there was no way the ZL1 could beat it around a track because it was too heavy. Chevy did a phenomenal job designing, developing and building this car. I simply cannot express how proud I will be every time I drive this magnificent car.

I like the fact that once she's broken in I can cruise around to work everyday pissing on M3's, AMG's and Mustangs along the way and even take my family around on the weekends (couldn't do this in my vette) and even do a few trackdays here and there and feel like Mario Andretti thanks to the "ease" factor...in the words of my friend BORAT:

the review should not have changed anybody's mind unless they have been dreaming.

the car's curb wieght hs been published it is heavy we all knew that. the braking was better than I expected. the 0-60 was better than expected if the 3.8 is real. The quater mile time is good.

I mean everybody acts like there are tons of stock 11 sec cars out there and there are not. there are cars that get there with mods but not in stock trim. I think I will have to pulley my ZL1 to get my Z06's acceleration but the braking and suspention will be better than my 07.

I think the Z06 carbon and GTR are the cars to have if you can affoard them for the money. I can't affoard them so ZL1 it is.

all the lack of love has me confused on this car. I litterally is faster than all current competitors but yet is sucks somehow???

I would not worry about the Z06 redesign. get the one with magnetic ride and you will have a rocket. The car is Drag radials away from ten second passes and handles awesome. just buy used so you can unload it if the redesign is good.
