Hi all!

Been a long time Corvette lover since I was a little boy. Unfortunately I have never been able to afford one. However, about a month ago, I feel I purchased the next best thing....a 2017 Camaro SS in Nightfall Gray (got a great deal with low miles)!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this car!! Using it as a daily driver. And I smile every time I start it up! lol I get some gruff about it all the time as I am 47 years old and everyone refers to it as my midlife crisis car. lol I don't let it bother me though as this thing is a blast to drive!!

I'll try to post some pics on the forum when I get some time and decent weather.

Mike

Welcome Mike, I had to chuckle when I read you 47 and friends are referring to you choice of rides as a midlife crisis! I am just turning 67 and have my first Camaro, wonder what my friends are calling me?

Welcome to the forum and I understand how your feel about the car. Today I was out in town with mine, each time I got out I had to look back at her. She is a beauty.

God bless and Welcome.
Larry

Mike, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Congrats Mike! I also just bought my Camaro SS last month. I'm loving it at 49 years of age so I'm sharing a midlife crisis with you. It looks like the weather is finally breaking...enjoy the car!

Welcome Mike. I too am from Iowa and like you I have always loved Corvettes. But after getting my fourth Camaro (2012 ZL1) last September, I realized that I would really rather have a Camaro over a Vette. Got everything I need in my Camaro. Enjoy it and drive it as often as you can. Cars are meant to be driven.
