Love for 5th Gen
After owning mine for 2 and a half years and detailing it on my vacation, I'm still in awe of the design. Tonight I waxed the back tail lights surrounds to above the diffuser.
In honor of 2nd Gen 4 tail light design, Chevy updated the tail light look for it's overall wining design...our 5th gens. And although I didn't like the '14 & '15 redesign it has since grown on me. Especially at night when they light up like the '10 -'13s. |

I drive my company 2011 F150 most of the week. Mon-Wed or Thu typically. Just thinking about getting back in my ride is very exciting to me. I drive this turtle of a truck, then hop on my SS and it feels amazing.
This is a great car. GM hit a homerun with our 5th gens... I feel ya guys and see how it makes me feel, and then see how it makes others feel and I am like - yup! I hope to own my Camaro for a long time, and will likely not ever sell it or trade it in. Here are a few shots from this weekend. I was up early out and about running errands (gas, check deposit, car wash etc). 7yrs and still taking pics of it, still exciting to drive, still feels great at 120k. Crazy, I drive my car less than half a week yet I am still averaging about 17k miles a year due mostly because I drive the heck out of it on the weekends. |

150K daily driver and still love every mile. Clean her almost daily
and still burnout weekly! Took pic on original slab of Rt66 in Winonah Az.

Seeing Spec's car at 120k miles looking better than most cars with < 30k miles is inspiring. At 108k on my 2010 SS, it gives me hope. I try my hardest to keep this car as clean and mechanically sound as possible. Unfortunately time and money don't always work with me, so there's that.

Great looking rides here. I too feel that 5th gen love. It's a wonderful intersection of performance, visual appeal, quality, and price. I still get excited to take mine out. I don't have the miles on like some of you guys do, but I'll get there. I try to keep her as spotless as I can at all times - and she sure does snap necks when she rumbles by.

I think the taillights were a throw back to the '67-'68 lights more so than the round lights from the '70.

The 6th Gen can't compete with the 5th in overall old school look. Nothing European
about the 5th. Change for changes sake is not always a good thing imo. Love this view. VVVV |

I agree, I got the 2013 because it's the last year of the original design. Everywhere I go I get compliments. Kids think I'm a superhero. And women melt in my hands

I couldn’t agree more, it’s a timeless design I have been in love with ever since I saw the first concept

Not only do I still 'feel the love' after almost 4 years, so does my wife. Her first car was a '79 Camaro and she always loved them; but she says they really got it right with the 5th Gen. Last night went out end up parked nose to nose with a 2017. My wife got out and checked it out, the she say's to me; 'I'm so glad you got the one we have, I really like the way it looks and I don't like what they did to them, I wouldn't want one (6th Gen)' ... told her I couldn't agree more.
