Is your camaro automatic or 6 speed and why ?

6 spd .. Just because it feels more like I'm in control !! Dosent make sense to me driving a muscle car that's an automatic!!! I do realize they're quicker .. But I love switching gears!!!

So the lady is learning to drive my Camaro. Hers is a versa. I told her this was just my daily driver that I bought for this year and since my job was stop and go I bought an a6. I then told her that in the future after my promotion I plan on buying a brand new model in m6. She just laughed and said I'm going to be buying an auto again cause she likes it now.

2 reasons.. Love the manual. And final gear ratio.
.... And the standard comes with the LS3 engine. More power, durable engine, and less drivetrain power loss.

Ya auto muscle cars are just terrible.

I drive manual, why? I love the olé school way and unfortunately it's a dying technique that I would like to keep alive. Nothing against automatics because in reality no matter how you love manuals when matched head to head for times and consistency auto wins.

Manual, I've had enough automatic's in my life already and if you go to enough shows you get tired of hearing the groaning fanboys coming by like 'Aww man, its just an auto' and moving about there day.

Beyond that, I have some customers that come into my shop who are 70, 80 years old and have no troubles driving their manual cars, its almost a lifestyle choice IMO.

I go to 2 or 3 a week if I can....
Never heard the groaning....only get nice colour or man that thing sounds good. Whats funny is how many manual guys pulling into the show that are not very good at driving. Those guys are easy pickins and are far common then gets discussed here.

You should go look in the vs section .....some real good racers talking about manuals at the track vs autos debate. Well its not really a debate. I'm not sure if you track your car but it's still a good read.
