I've had the RAM pedal adjuster for several years and love it No dead spot. The key to eliminating a dead spot is to do a real good flush ... preferably a power flush.

use the clutch engagement point for reference. You mention the temperature as a contributor. How far does the pedal travel before the clutch starts to move the car when cold and hot. Also, how far does the pedal travel to get the clutch to start to disengage or lower engine rpm (slip) when decelerating.

These will give reference points for clutch engagement and disengagement which are directly linked to shimming, slave function, fluid boiling etc.

My last clutch would not disengage because the center hub was warped to the outer perimeter of the clutch disks and would not allow the clutch to slide on the shaft to disengage or move away from the flywheel.

collect good data during the failure and non failure (pedal travel) to help you.
