The pleasant suprise the one owner spent a small fortune on it, resulting in it producing over 800 HP at the flywheel. Very excited to have it. Being 80 isn’t going to stop my love for performance cars. It aint over till it’s over✌️I will post pictures later when I can figure out how to do it.
Need to clarify that the 192.4 MPH was accomplished at the Texas Mile in Beeville, Texas.

Have a great day, all.

Fun New Years

Well, this old fart got to spend New Years in the hospital with double pneumonia . Not fun. Doing well now, lungs are getting back in shape. The moral of the story is don't wait to see a Dr. when you get sick. I thought it was just some virus so waited four days before I finally went in. Probably could have avoided it getting so bad if I had got on antibiotics sooner. Here's to a healthier 2019 for everyone!

Close call - hope you're feeling better. I've been susceptible to pneumonia most of my life until I started with the anti-pneumonia shots back the late 90's. You can get the latest Prevnar 13 without a prescription at COSTCO, for free, if you are 65 pr older.

Glad to hear the you're feeling better. I had a similar incident:

About 4 weeks ago I thought I had an ulcer. I went to see my doctor on 12/21 and he ordered a STAT CT Scan. Later that evening the doctors office called and told me to go to the ER for intravenous antibiotics. They admitted me in the hospital and said that a surgeon would be by in the morning to see me. Saturday 12/22 the surgeon that walked in was a good friend of mine. He told me that I had a bacterial infection in my small intestine and that I needed surgery that day to remove about a foot and a half of my small intestine.

He did the surgery Saturday afternoon and told me that everything went well. I had a follow up appointment and the pathology report was negative for cancer. He's not sure nor am I on what caused the infection. Doctor said there should be no long term effects but my swim suit modeling days are over LOL! I have a scar that starts 3 inches above my belly button and goes about 3 inches below it.

He reattached the intestine with titanium staples that will be there for the rest of my life. I hope that I don't set off the metal detectors at the airport!

Thanks Spike / BLU DUCE! I knew something wasn't right and decided to see my doctor. The good thing was that it had not ruptured and was only inflamed.

I know the feeling. I still have the wires around my sternum from open heart surgery 22 years ago.

Geeze guys. Sorry for the troubles. Hope for rapid improvement.

I too have had a bit of an issue. Had severe low tummy pain a few weeks ago & went to urgent care. They thought it was a UTI & gave meds. Labs came back negative for infection. Got better then in about a week pain was back but not as severe. Again given meds & again negative for infection. They think maybe my bladder has dropped. Have an appointment with an OB/GYN tomorrow to see what is going on in there. Hoping I won't need surgery.

What the heck is going on with us people? Hope you get some good results and they find the problem and can get rid of it.

Initial exam was good. Everything looked normal. I have to go back in a couple of weeks for an ultrasound to see what may be going on inside.
