2012+ Rear End Sway Bar End Link Strength

I know the 2010 and 2011 sway bar links and brackets were too weak with better sway bars, but is this still a problem with 2012 and up?

I am planning on upgrading my 2015 V6 with the JPSS 27mm front and 32mm rear kit and need links for the rear. Will the GM ones hold up? If not, what options do I have besides JPSS links? All the links I find are for 2010 and 2011, leading me to guess that the 2012+ are strong enough that the aftermarket didn't need to step in.

I've not heard as much issues with the fronts, but can they hold up as well?

Also, can someone get the part number for stock 2012+ rear links?

Don't have the part #'s, but JusticePete has full confidence in the factory endlinks of the FE4 bar (he recommended them for my JPSS upgrade ).

Enjoy!

P.S. I think the part # is 22761221. Same part for both left and right side, so you order 2.
GM parts direct has'em for about $20 each, but don't rule out your local dealer- usually if I tell my parts guy what I can get it for online, they'll match it or at least get very close... and then you've made a new friend!

Thank you! Did you do the upgrade already? How do you like it?

Detroit Speed Equipment makes a upgraded set of links for the FE4.

rear endlink (2) - 22761221
front endlink (1) - 22842515 (passenger)
front endlink (1) - 22842516 (driver)

not sure if you have 10mm bolt front end links or 12mm?
FE3 had the 10mm. FE4 had the 12mm.
JPSS front bars have 12mm holes.
JPSS doesn't make a rear endlink; only the fronts.

Detroit Speed and LSR are the only aftermarket/adjustable rear endlinks I've seen for the FE4 bars.

The bolts and holes are just on the swaybars, or on the monts to the car as well requiring drilling or diferent mounts?

I know the rear is compatable, just the fronts.

the front endlinks attach the sway bars to the struts.
the endlinks will either be 10mm on both sides or 12mm on both sides.
some aftermarket endlinks can be ordered with a mismatch if you don't want to drill the 10mm hole with a 12mm bit.

Alright, so the struts have a 10mm hole, and a drill bit will fix that.
If I ordered 1LE struts, they would come with 12mm stock I would assume?

The factory FE4 links work great. You won't have any issues with them whatsoever. We have a complete conversion HERE.
