Groove in rotor normal?

There is a groove in my rotor vent area that does not look like it belongs. I have not looked at the others yet. This was found trying to find a squeak coming from my rear wheel. Should I try and get a proper rotor from the dealer, or is there a function to this groove?

All the camaro rotors I've seen have this groove. Possibly for balancing but it's normal and won't have anything to do with the squeal.

I knew it was unrelated to the squeal, that's just the reason the car was apart.

Thank you though, i guess i have nothing to worry about.

Now i gotta find out why they squeak when I'm rolling slow.

As said before most all rotors have that groove and I do believe it's for balancing. It is completely normal.
