bought my first 5th gen

hi everyone. i'm chris. my story is kinda funny (its hilarious to me. not as funny if you don't know my wife).

i have been bugging my wife to get rid of her 2000 Olds Alero (auburn mist metallic) for about 6 months. she finally gave in a couple weeks ago. i told her she could get any GM product she wanted. i was fully expecting her to choose an aveo, sonic, malibu, cruse....etc. in a very "normal" color. black, red, blue, something typical and plain. thats usually her style.

well, apparently i've rubbed off on her a bit. my first car was an 86 monte carlo SS that eventually got a big block. i've owned multiple f-bodies. a couple fox bodies. i currently have a 99 FRC vette.

enough beating around the bush. she found a 2011 2SS/RS. 6 speed (she still needs to learn). and best of all....SYNERGY GREEN! took me completely by surprise, but i'm excited.

i should be picking it up on friday. the dealer is installing a few options we ordered. it came with the black rally stripes. we ordered black hockey stripes, black gill stripes, black body kit (the factory one), and a black high wing spoiler (i know i know. she likes it better than the stock one though).

there will be PLENTY of pics of the camaro this weekend.

she definitely is man! 5'6". 115 lbs. swedish. plays more video games than me. wants a radioactive camaro. absolutely a keeper!

Chris, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
