Did they just re-purposed the LT1 fender badge for the Collector edition hood badge?

Yeah. The whole thing is a bit weird to me. They first named a trim after the RPO code for the V8 engine, and are now badging the hood to denote what's underneath. I think they should have done 6.2L badges, or just left it plain.

I'm hoping someone who has a C.E.(LT-1 equipped) will post a few good photos of the hood and where the emblem is positioned.

I fell in love with the LT1 model for its attractive price and great set of included options for use as a DD.
However, it is confusing to see references to "LT1" that are to the engine not the model and that it can easily be confused with very different "1LT" model, and that most people not familiar with Camaros (or Vetters) would know that LT1 emblem means it has V8 engine.

If you or anyone else is interested in another similar badge option, someone on this forum had shared this link to an "6.2 LT1" badge that I really liked and ordered for my LT1 (model):
https://www.amazon.com/ERPART-Silver.../dp/B01K9HGCB4
I have put one under the hood in the front and I chose to put the 2nd one in the center of the dash but I think some owners put it on both sides of the hood bulge similar to the "LT1" on the CE edition.

Obviously the correct application of the LT1 emblems should be on each fender, each side of the hood bulge, on each side of the front bumper directly below each head light, each side of the rear bumper directly below each tail light, and on each side behind the small rear quarter windows. Inside the vehicle, the LT1 emblems should grace the steering wheel, the dash and the top of each door panel. As a final touch for the true Camaro enthusiasts, one would incorporate "LT1" into the personalized tag of their choice. It would also be necessary to wear only "LT1" branded apparel when driving the Camaro.

Not a CE Edition '24 but it is a '24 2SS and thought the LT1 emblem looks good on the hood as it does on the CE SS.

Damn! Every time I see pictures of your car I love it more! And my neighbour has the ball on the string trick for when he parks in the garage, also that bicycle above your fender scares the shit out of me

That's pretty much what I was talking about. GM has a weird trend of mixing up trim and engine names lately. Look at the Chevy SS for example. They took a trim name and turned it into a model.

Regardless, this car looks good with many different combinations of badges. I even like the guys who do the old school script Camaro on the fender.

Thanks a lot for the compliment!! It is a 1 of 1 car for 2024!
As far as the bike rack... it is very secure but I agree it does look scary!

No pics yet but drivers side 3” from the tip of the 1 to the edge of the hood and 17 1/8 from the bottom straight line to the left edge of the hood.
