We don't even get those temps here in central NY, so he's not driving anywhere in MD at those temps.

I bought my car in January, and it had the F1's on it when I bought it. I have since changed tires, but it had been sitting all winter up until that point in some very very cold weather (0-20 degrees). They are sitting in my house now and I don't see any visible cracking.

That said I would wait till 40+ weather to put them on, they have issues hooking up in the cold weather.

There is a GM TSB warning against using summer tires in cold weather. Service Bulletin #16-NA-296. It applies to GM models with summer-only tires, including Camaro.

Synopsis: The recommendation is to swap to winter tires when below 40 degrees F. If driven in temps under 40, the tires may develop surface cracks (the TSB shows pictures), and any cracks that develop when driving in winter conditions would not be covered by warranty. If the car is stored and the temps fall to 20 degrees F or lower, the car should not be moved at all.

What he meant is the F1 will crack at that temperature. He’s been driving in slightly below freezing weather. Still not optimal though.

I know most people would roast in hell for eternity before they would look at the owner's manual, but OP's question was correctly answered in post 4. The same rating applies to the supercars on the ZL1 and 1LE as covered on page 35 of the High Perf Supplement.

You don't rotate staggered sizes.

I drive mine, in the cold when I can. As long as the salt is off the roads, no cracks so far. I just dont push them hard.

He didn't ask that, he asked how many kilometers or miles the tires rotate. My answer was correct.

This one went over your head. It was a play on words of a earlier poster who mentioned he ran his in 25-30 degree below 0 weather.

Look at his location, he probably doesn't speak English natively. So yes, very helpful.
