I can relate,(although not a camaro) my mother bought the new honda civic in '12 and they tried to say 23K was the lowest price. She went prepared. 20K was the final price

So you sold yours? What else is new?

What keeps you coming back into C5 if you sold yours?
Congrats, losing weight is not easy (obviously) I know you must be happy about that.

Well I like to visit my old friends sometimes. But I have been deployed again for almost 5 months so errrr...
It was sad to let her go. I obtained a 2010 corvette GS. For about a month, I had the two cars. Was going to keep the V6. Tested my luck and put it up for sale. Told myself if it doesn't sell before I leave in my deployment in Jan, I will keep it. 3 days later, I was giving the car to the new owner.. It was sad!!!!

Ouch, thats pricey for a Civic... and hey, I still have V8s lol, most of my fleet is a V8, minus the parts car. Thats a V0...no more engine in that

Just got BMR lowering springs installed & got the "aggressive street" alignment. Then got to run autocross at Good Guys Nationals. I was slow as Christmas but heck, I'm learning. Pretty much done with performance mods though I keep talking myself into & out of getting the throttle controller thingy. I just don't know if it would make that much difference for me with my current mods. I need to go get the HP tune updated since Tampa Tuning cracked more of the tables. And looking forward to the fest which will turn out to be for my birthday this year! Woooo Hoooo! Watch out SSlayer is going to be on the loose! (my club buds fussed at me for teasing them with this term that they nick-named me so only here now & if they come in here & get butt hurt it is their own fault for snooping in the V6 thread).

For a brand new one it's really not. The base models start out at 19, Si's start out at 23-24 back then. Accords high 30's and so on. Dealers are just laughable.

Still, 19, when a Camaro is 20 or so. Hell, even at the official 23, the difference is whats laughable. Granted you get better mileage, but the 6 gets great mileage. My Camaro does way better than my mothers Rabbit...a little VW and she gets about 21 or so average, and I get 24 (same driving. I drove her car a whole week and did my calculations)
