Would this fall under warranty?

As Michigan is in quarantine, I decided to give the camaro a really nice detail as I had nothing to do. I was about to clean my passenger seat and I noticed that the seatbelt latch sleeve is completely “shaved” and has a couple small holes.

Would this happen to fall under my warranty?

Doubtful unless it is causing an issue of some sort.If it is just cosmetic, I would say no. You can always ask?

I received a letter from GM saying that there is a security issue with the seat belts... I'll attach a picture below of that letter but that just look like something they are asking us to check and if damaged, they are replacing it under warranty.

I got that letter in the mail about 3 weeks ago. I’ll bring it up when I call my dealer

I got the same letter concerning my 2017 ZL1 about 3 weeks ago. I checked and nothing wrong with mine.

He probably means these scuff marks, it doesn't look like the damage covered by the recall to me:
