ZL1 Mag ride setting
Is is just me? Or do most of you with mag ride keep it in Sport?
I tried tour around town, but I find it too bouncy. And with the speed bumps in my neighborhood, I found that the car would sometimes bottom out going over speed bumps when in tour mode. But sport mode seems just right for daily driving. Only use track mode on track days (the 1 whole one I got to last year). Just curious what the rest of you use most of the time. I honestly never use the tour setting anymore. Have not since about the 3rd week I had the car.

Same with my 1LE, nearly always in sport... unless it's at 0'dark 30 and I'm trying to be a good neighbor.

I keep the car in Sport, suspension in Tour and exhaust in Track. Alabama roads are crap! Plus this setup is best for stoplight fun...imo

I use to run sport but now I only use track. I love the response of the suspension under braking. Track is stiff but not harsh, still absorbs bumps very well.

Other than the ride quality differences, I believe (although I have no factual prove) that the rebound damping curves are quicker when in track mode.
The Compression stroke is more about ride quality, but how quick the car re-settles after being upset is the rebound stroke and that is what I find better in track mode as well.

I would say I do the following
0% Tour 25% Sport 75% Track Snow/Ice I only drive the car for fun so I don't mind if the ride is more firm. It's also in canyon roads most of its life and rarely driven around town. Still trying to find time to do my first track day with the car... |

I have mine in sport with the exhaust in track. I've never used tour.

During these cold months when I do drive it i've been leaving it in tour. I think with the cold temps everything feels stiff and touring is just more compliant. Once it warms up again I leave it in sport except for the few times I play in the twisties and I put it in track mode

Leave it in Tour driving to and from the track and PTM 5 while out on track. About the only 2 modes I use.

I find myself running in sport most of the time. If my wife is with me and we are going on a trip I put it in tour. But sometimes I will drive around in track/ race for better throttle response.

I'm in Sport on the streets and on the track it's a progression from Sport 1, then Sport 2 but rarely Race (PTM5). This is where you get the most out of PRM 1 thru 5 and need to adjust accordingly. |

Mostly in sport unless I’m with the wife, then it’s in touring.

Track PTM Sport 1 on the Street and Track PTM Race at the track. I like to keep the same throttle mapping and use stability control on the street.
