I wanted the dash harness for an 18 ZL1 with the PDR.
They did not give me the part number.

This is exactly what I did.
GM said what do you need it for?
I said I need the harness to add PDR to my car.
They said they did not want to get involved with conversions.

for $3-500 id rather swap it out than hunt for parts that may work.
the individual connectors seem to be unavailable, so that means use a cheap data wire try to find one that fits.

The GPS and recorder have the exact same Fakra C male connector. looks like an extension with the female connectors on each end that is about 40" will need to be found.

I found this:

I found a website that seems to show everything on the car.

https://chevrolet.7zap.com/en/camaro...895241221-0-0/

Looks like there are a bunch of different versions of the harness; and based on the one image alone it doesnt look like it has the wiring for the PDR im looking for.

Amazon is good. If you're looking for FAKRA cables, Pasternack is a good option too.

Also, "Water blue" FAKRA connectors are universal and work with any keying (color).

Ive bought everything needed at this point, total with ebay recorder, touch display control and camera adds up to $1700, not including the HMI update I had done early this year that included NAV and the PDR (which was another $1200).

I pulled some covers and the carpet back today to see what I was dealing with and there are no connections for any of the PDR in the vehicle which I expected.

the only thing left to figure out is the connections for the data communication and radio system schematic connecitons on connector x1 and x2 (see image below in red boxes). I need to find out where those are supposed to tie into the vehicle, the PDR schematic does not show where those wires go.

Did you by chance figure out exactly where X3 goes from the PDR?

So I assume this goes to the HMI as the display does not have any connectors (usb style) and based on the excerpt from the service manual that says the following, or did I miss something.

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION > RADIO/AUDIO SYSTEM DESCRIPTION AND
OPERATION (IO5/IO6) > HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE MODULE
The human machine interface module is responsible for the following: Video for the infotainment display,
Bluetooth ®, USB, memory card reader, and speech recognition functions.
The human machine interface module communicates with the info display module via the LIN bus for
control information, touch communications and dimming level. Digital video data is sent to the display
through a dedicated video cable.
