Just repair Info on my Gen5
Just Wanted to let everyone know what I have done to my Ride since I bought it last Dec 2021, it came with some problems. Engine light on, and passenger air bag OFF issue. And all tire sensors were bad. Other than that it is in great condition. I fixed the air bag problem for only $16.00 vs. $1300.00 the dealer wanted. I saw what others on this site went though! So I went to the junk yard and picked up the passenger seat sensor pad and the Module that it connects to it under the seat, they have to match some kind of programming between the 2 parts. Next I went to the tires Turns out only 1 was bad they replaced it and re-programmed the others. Today is my 2nd day replacing Both Catalytic converters what fun!! I bought after market from Canada for $190.00 Bank 1 did not come with the bolts So I went to the dealer and got 2 bolts and nuts (the same that is used on Bank 2) so yea the Camano is jacked up for another day out in my driveway! I’ll be doing a tune up in the spring Wife won’t let me spend any more on it until then. If anyone one needs the part numbers so you don’t have to spend hours looking for them I have them for all 4 O2 sensors and air bag parts. Along with PDIM cables and stuff like that I have also replace the On star Module for hands free calling anther junk yard part for $5.00 Been having fun on this Camano gives me something to do in my retirement keeps me young!!
