Code P0442, where is the purge valve?

My 18 SS has that code after header and no cat install. Says purge valve, can anyone point me to where it is ? Every time I clear it comes back after a few days.

Thanks
Jay

I believe the purge valve is attached to the Evap canister

The purge valve solenoid is located on the intake manifold left of the throttle body. The vent valve is the one located on the evap canister.

Where does the other end connect?

Does anyone know what the other end that connects into the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve is connected to? I have looked everywhere and can't find an answer?

The other end connects to the evap canister back near the gas tank.

Ready, replaced last night. Check engine went away but do not know if it was because of the new purge valve or because I disconnected the battery. But the error before used to read Pending, Current, Permanent. Now it only reads Permanent.
