MRT ver 2.0 Resonator Delete!!

Got my resonators taken off today, and it made MRT Ver 2 sound even better!! Its noticeably louder and deeper while maintaining no drone. I highly recommend this easy mod. And my shop only charged my 60 bucks for it!!

The mrt ver 2 install was 95 for me welded, then the same shop charged me 60 for the resonator delete wich was welded with a straight pipe. Not too bad at all I think.

Wish I could do that. I took mine off for 45 minutes and put them back on. Way to loud and boomy with my setup, even with the resonated x pipe! Guess the whole combo was just louder then normal.

definitely does add volume, but i think its great. Before i thought the mrt 2 was just a tad bit quiet for me, but deleting the resonators made it sound perfect. Next up some lowering springs and then LT Headers! Im getting addicted to modding way too quick lol

I'd recomend cutting them out and adding a x-pipe. But, yeah. Ditching them makes a world of differance.

would not go with an x-pipe.... will add more rasp... few here have tried doing that and have reported increased rasp... now if you are talking about the magnaflow "resonated" X then that is different...

Hey scrming .. does the magnaflow "x" make a big difference ? Power or just sound . And any idea what this part cost

I believe it's main benefit is sound... looking at the design i think it's going to actually loose a bit of power... Seems to help control drone and tone things down a bit... perhaps a resonated x owner can chime in here...
