On the npp has anyone tried the forza control and run them on closed? Maybe with LT, it will keep them with in the db limit? If not what is everyone doing to keep the car quite. What did you all buy?

Owners manual recommends against running on track with the valves closed. It's relatively restrictive. |

if you have mufflers, your almost certainly ok. if you have headers, no cats, and no mufflers, your almost certainly over and will need the baffles.
i have long tubes, no cats, factory resonators and race mufflers. im just under. my car is loud, just not too loud lol. one guy got his C7 to keep the flaps closed and he was fine. the C7s with headers and flaps open are too loud. FYI Last edited by JOHNSONROD; 01-31-2017 at 02:07 PM. |

Also - Cats....LTs with Cats (even high flow) through NPP, will probably be ok. |

My Z has headers with high flow cats through NPP, do you think that fine or do i need to have it tested?

I believe there may be a cell phone app for this stuff.
May not be the most accurate but worth a try. |

With the wall along the front stretch being so close to the track, I wonder if this will magnify the sound wave in any way but I guess it depends on the location of noise sensor.

The West Course is more track that most can handle. A 3 mile course is crazy, but that's what everyone always wants. |

At 7-10 laps a 20 minute session, if the lap times average around 2:30 or so, I know I'll need a break. Hell, the tension of not doing something dumb will be enough to wear me out I expect.
Probably take me 2-3 sessions just to get "used" to the track and what I'm willing and/or allowed to do with my car on it. |
