But a good set of Coilovers can do just as good a job; not on the fly adjustment changes, but can be set up to handle the course.
If it wasn't a grade change (jump) and it was a "bump" then the suspension was too stiff, which is what corvette were known for, stiff harsh rides

I ordered my car without MRC, then I drove a car without it and with it and saw the difference noticeably on NJ roads, much nicer on bumpy roads and figured it would rattle more as time went by if I left the order as is. I then called GM and begged them to add it and worked with my dealer, and got it on my ride.
