Nice to see Camaro styling venerated on the new Mustang. The three-quarter view is pure Camaro.

I'm a Chevy guy but I have to applaud Ford here, they took notice of the camaro going away after 2023 and with the charger and challenger losing there hemi power and the mustang at least continuing well on into 2028 Ford is definitely counting on gaining new customers which I believe will happen since GM seems to be pushing electric vehicles.

I like it, overall. They def trying to capture Camaro and MOPAR muscle heads with the combo design, lol... Had some fun with this:

Dark Horse car will be hard to resist! With GM folding on its fan base like a cheap card table, Ford is still giving enthusiasts what they actually want. Hard not to like that.

Very thankful Ford is staying with ICE V8 that can be combined with a manual. For some reason, I like the rear view better than front, lol. The Fox bodies weren’t great lookers, but they were damned fun to drive compared to anything else modern at the time. I don’t think you could get a manual in the Buick GN…
Hopefully they can produce them at a decent rate and yet add enough options to personalize somewhat. Ford may save the day yet again. |

Mustang Toyota Crown Mercedes E class and up BMW X7 Cadillac Escalade (Although the Escalade IMO goes different with the curved OLED and extra side screen) Cadillac Lyriq The Crown isn't really the same but its design in videos makes it look very close. Everyone's going to these one piece of glass, two screens maneuver it seems. My only disappointment is that Camaro kept getting the scraps on tech features it feels like. This Mustang got Ford's 'Blue Cruise' while the closest we got is a forward collision alert (I don't believe we have automatic braking). Chevy has the competition of 'Super Cruise' but I guess it can only be implemented through a new model change since it would require more cameras and sensors than we have, considering we have in total 2 cameras (back-up and rear-view mirror) and 7 total sensors that I can recall (4 rear parking sensors, 2 cross-traffic sensors, 1 front radar sensor). I've experienced a few car tech features, Toyota is doing nicely with offering standard features on all their models (drove a base LE Camry and it has more safety/tech than most other cars standard). I get we aren't the first to be considered for tech features and a lot of our drivers don't care but it sucks looking at brand new models that have fewer features than a majority of other cars. It's no luxury car but god I wish it had some more than the same safety features from last gen.

It IS the same chassis as the S550 but they tweaked some of the mounting hard points and what not for S650.

If they are really 3900lbs for a NA...then just...wow. I mean, yeah the 550 was porky moving to IRS, but now they had some time to refine it, add aluminum, right? Wrong I guess. That's basically a wash as far as hp/lb and then you add the torque curve that is significantly lower at lower RPM with their smaller displacement.
If they could have kept it 3600-3700...

There’s already a 550 in the garage. I expect a 650 will be there eventually. Ideally I will get a wide body SRT last call Challenger first, then a carbon fiber GT 500.

If Dodge does in fact release their facsimile of a muscle car and Chevy just stops making the Camaro (I doubt we'll get much notice) then this positions Ford very well. Congrats to Mustang fans but the fact that it kind of resembles a Camaro feels like a kick while we're already down.
