Turtle bug and tar remover spray and wipe off with a MF towel or even a blue shop paper towel.

Someone mentioned on here to use a spent dryer sheet moistened. I think it was Modshack. It's supposed to me a real hack...

Soak it with a hot wet towel for a few minutes, use the dryer sheet, works well. If you want a product to help, get some poorboys "bug squash". Dont scrub, wipe. Rewax or seal.

I presoak with a waterless wash to soften them up. Then use a bug sponge lightly to remove. Anything that might be left after that gets clayed using a clay bar. I don't use the clay towel for that process. What ever you do don't scrub them off.
Sealants , or coatings make the removal even easier, and they can be sprayed off it the bugs have not had time to bake onto the surface for days. You can also use waterless wash to remove them while they are still fresh on the surface. I do this often when on road trips. |

Yeah...Try it. Easiest bug removal method I've ever used and I've been doing this for awhile..

squirt them with windex and let it soak for a minute or two and wipe them off. Not sure if windex will remove any wax underneath though. I always do a quick re-wax on the front facia afterwards. Ive never tried the dryer sheet method. I'll give that a try next time.

Best product I have found is SeaFoam Bugs-be-gone. It doesn't seem to strip the wax and works better than any other products I have tried. The only place I have been able to find it, in my area, is Rural King.

After spraying your car off and before doing your two bucket wash spray down the bugs with Waterless Wash and let them soak while you are washing the rest of the car.
The WW will loosen the bug guts and they will come off easier. Tip, the sooner you can get them off the better. If you find old bug guts you will have to clay to get them off. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/exteri...-car-wash.html |
