CF hood defect?
My carbon fiber hood insert is dented on both sides. I just noticed this yesterday. It's hard to see and you have to look at a certain angle but it's on both sides of it. Anyone else have this?

You can get it replaced under warranty, I'm sure. Mine is slightly more wavy on the sides than the top, from certain angles.
Still, I can't complain since $62K gets you 650/650/3.5/198/11.4. I like where they put the money.

Mine seems to be slightly wavy on the sides to the back of the hood but hardly noticeable only when I see it at a certain angle.

They replaced mine on my 17 under warranty.

I won’t worry about mine yet as I have until April of 2020 when my 3 year/36,000 mile warranty is up.

I really don’t think it’s a defect as it’s just the weave of the CF that makes it look that way!��

Noticed same thing when mine was delivered, replaced under warranty....same thing, maybe not quite as noticeable as the first one though.
