They buffed them out. Heck I was scared to let them touch it, but they did it right!

To tell you the truth, the ZL1 is a technical wonder and I am still trying to live up to what the car can do, sadly I will never be the driver this car can handle.

Mine has scratches on the spoiler, front fender, and deck lid. Also on the CF hood insert. I pointed out to the dealer this comes from them attempting to do a wash job with brushes, sponges, rags, etc. that I equate to 30 grit sandpaper. They know not to wash my cars but did this one for delivery, and failed. They said they would take care of it and they will.

...I am sorry to hear about your issues. Address your issues with both customer service and the dealership. The car has a distinct foul odor during the first week or so of operation, my belief it is from the burnshing of the brake pads and hardwear. Make sure you read about the break in period for the brake lining. Good luck...

The sales manager was not happy that I declined the clean up since mine sat for 2 months in the initial quality hold, but the customer rep said I did the right thing. I washed mine at home. Sorry to hear about the scratches. If they can't be felt, they can be removed by careful polishing. Lets face it, they don't follow the recommendations in the detailing section of this forum.

Thanks for all the support! I just got the car back today...the Blue Ray paint was glistening in the sun. My dealer really made me happy with how well they fixed the car. My hat is off to them and the Camaro build team. Driving that car even super slow on the 5 mile ride home was exhilarating. I can't wait for Spring!

there was a zl1 here that had a rim damaged in transport. they said it was a back order as well. it's a shame they don't have some of these for back up in case of these situations.

This is great to hear that your dealership stepped up and addressed all of your concerns. Congratulations on your new purchase and we look forward to all of your updates.

Now that's what I like to hear!

Glad everything got sorted out. There ARE good dealers out there...in some areas, you just have to look a little harder...and be a little lucky.
