It's a great color! I wrapped mine a color very close to rapid blue (before it was out). But the only comment i've gotten was "from a distance i thought your car was a Mustang".

Rapid Blue is similar to Mustang Grabber Blue, but Rapid Blue is actually a shade lighter. Unfortunately the lighting in the pictures doesn't really show that very well.

Rapid blue was in the running for me when I was looking at the ZLE, but the ZLE is a loud car already with all of the front and rear wings, and pokey tires. The rapid blue would've taken it to the next decibel, and to me it's like Red Hot from another mother. Both colors are fantasy colors that I'd love to have, but would never, like marrying a party girl.

Can't turn a hoe into a house wife

But seriously, I sometimes wish I went with something more bold than my blandish satin steel metallic. I love the look of red hot. I think I could have settled on riverside blue. If Rally Green was an option, that would have been it.

Yeah my car was satin steel too, kinda of regretted it, but with extra time during COVID, I DIY wrapped it blue, I think I’d even pay to have it done from what I learned about vinyl wrap, I don’t worry about small scratches, have a color I like, and look forward to trying a new color after a few years!

I originally put in an order with a dealership for a ZLE in satin steel but it never got picked up for production and then GM discontinued that color and I was sad. I then proceeded to look for sharkskin metallic, but was intrigued by rapid red but couldn't get it because all were either spoken for or had a mark up. Then one day while out driving, I saw a ZL1 in riverside blue metallic and was sold because it looks better in real life than in pictures. Now guess what? I'm going to be riding around in riverside blue metallic baby.

That's the best color to have if you don't want to wash it every other day.
I've had white, blue, red, yellow, black and gray cars and gray was the best for not showing the dirt/grime.
I really like the blue on the OP's car. It is an eye catcher.

They can't be pulling people over taking up peoples time just because they want to see your car. Next time get their badge number and make a complaint with the dept.
