I would be happy for a 2024, I’ve been close to ordering a 2023 in case there’s no 2024. If there was to be continuation of the 6th gen beyond 2024, we would need the current ct4/5 continue as well?

Guys, guys, guys, remember that this is General Motors were talking about. Nothing is set in stone until it's rolling off the assembly line. And even then...

I worked at GM for thirty years and some of the decisions are based solely on taxes. It doesn't matter how many billons are spent on plants or upgrades.

But I hope that the 24 Camaro does happen. The beginning of 22 I lost my job and credit, by then, my credit should be in the 500's. Just kidding, I'll be back in the 800's by then.

This is welcoming news. I keep worrying I won't get allocation for my LT1 so I could be dependent on another production year. Hope everyone that wants one, gets one!!!

if they only just made them in a 6 speed manual....I'd have all the Camaros to myself and maybe a handful of people.

Even though I have a 2016 Ford Mustang GT, I plan on getting a 2023-24 Chevy Camaro LT1 before they are gone for good. Only option for my 6-sp manual LT1 would be the extra-cost red paint.

Love both of these cars and I want to keep enjoying them for many years to come!
What's your opinion on the new S650 or Dark Horse? If the Camaro isn't available in 2024 I may get one of those. But I love my HUD & prefer chevy's infotainment vs the Ford Sync system; that's why I'd rather have a new Camaro.

If they do make 2024's there is no guarantee there would be a ZLE offering.

Just putting that out there.

Has there been any announcements about the Cadillac's that are also produced in Lansing? I can't believe that GM would end Camaro but keep building Cadillac. I would think they live or die together, but that is just speculation. Specifically, the CT5-V Blackwing also has the LT4, so that should tell the future of the ZL1.

I believe the whole reason there even is a rumor about the Camaro being gone after 2024 is because it was announced that the Alpha platform is being retired after 2024.

That and the fact that there is no longer any engineering team working on the Camaro. No engineering is a big telltale.

The Mustang Dark Horse is my back up plan if the ZLE falls through. I love naturally aspirated engines and getting the Coyote 5.0 at 500hp is sweet.

It was criminal for GM to drop Hyper blue. I’ve never seen a more perfect blue for any car until hyper blue. Really wish I got my car in HBM rather than Mosaic Black. My red guts make up for it I suppose

Same for me, in that dark blue metallic, the flake in that paint is amazing.

I just want a regular ZL1 in Radiant Red or VOM, 6M, all other options are negotiable. Hopefully by next spring I can get one at / below MSRP. We'll see.
