Small town scam dealer - NC

I was not going to do this but I can't resist.
Yesterday I drove by the chevy dealer in town and they had 3 camaros. One an LS with 18" stock wheels,cloth, no gauges, automatic, etc. Today I was driving by with my sister and I stopped to show her camaros. A salesman came out to try and sell me. I noticed that the LS now had a spoiler and the polished 20" wheels and tires. I ask him what it was, a LT1 or LS or what. He laughed at me and said it was an RS. I ask him where the RS emblems were and he said it came that way with no emblems but it was an RS. I said BS, you guys put the spoiler on this and the wheels cause yesterday it wasn't like this. He then said yes they did. I ask him where the got the spoiler and he said GM cause you can get whatever you want from GM. I ask him what they were asking for it and he said $26,000 but they had not added the RS stuff yet. It was used (11,000 miles) from another dealer by the way. I ask him why he lied to me.
They are the only Chevy dealer near Murphy, NC. I could'nt help but laugh!
THis is normal for this dealer. I have a SIM on order but not from them.

He lied to you two times, That Car is from a car rental company and not from a dealer, In my small town the dealer has 2 of them for sale.

A mooch LS can be had for about 23000, its probly been treated like a rented mule too....maybe worth.....16000..what do ya think?

...these kind of dealers should not be aloud to sell camaros at ALL! I hope no one buys from them for doing that kinda of stuff!

I had a similar situation in a larger town. A small used car lot har a LS non RS for sale with 18" herritage wheels. I stopped in my 2LT/RS and asked how much they were asking and the dealer replied $33,000.00. I said thankyou and left. A few weeks later I stopped by again and asked the same question and was told the same thing, however they have put on MS 20" Wheels and the rear spoiler to make it look like an RS. I have not returned to see if the car had sold yet or not, but there is no way I am going to pay that much for a base model car than I did for my loaded 2LT.
