Long story short as I have already posted about it. Ordered a 2021 2SS 1LE in Feb. We all know what is happening in manufacturing. Kind of gave up and got a Silverado in May. Still no Camaro. Really gave up and wife got a new Tahoe RST in July. So we tell the dealer he can sell it as we got the truck and SUV, and still had my 19 C7 Grand Sport. Car came in Sunday and they are closed on Sunday. Well I get a call, car is here and other buyer backed out. They asked if still interested. I tell them I will come look at it. Well, I am now back in the Camaro club. Got more than I paid for my Corvette on the trade. Didn't pay any sales tax because of the trade value. Got a $1000 Dealer Cash.(ask about that on your next purchase, its kind of a hidden incentive). And got it for employee pricing.

I didn't take pictures but its a red hot 2SS. I could not bring it home as it still needed to go through PDI, and they had to put the rest of the spoiler on and my LPO options (carbon fiber fuel door and black lugnuts and locks) so I get it tomorrow.

I ordered the carbon fiber shift lever (its an A10), but it did not look like it was on there. Anyone have a picture of that or is it also a LPO dealer installed option.

Awesome and thanks. Also thanks for a quick reply. That is certainly not the shifter in the new car. It was a $150 option so I will make sure its there

It is LPO and that's what it looks like.

I have the carbon fiber shift lever on my M6. This will give you an idea of how your A10 knob will look.

It was installed yesterday along with the carbon fuel door and black lugs and locks and the put the end cap pieces on to complete the spoiler. If I knew how little carbon fiber was no the shifter I would have passed. But it does look better matching the black interior as opposed to the silver colored shifter. Thanks for all the help.

Which Silverado did you get? I went to buy an AT4 but the ones they're selling now don't have any options on them, standard stereo, no heated backseats, no premium options really. That and I am hearing the 21 model engines are dropping like flies at less than $10K miles so I went with a loaded up 19 that had a full powertrain warranty from the dealership.

I went with the Trail Boss LT. Every option except for the 6.2 liter engine and sunroof. Cherry Red, basically maroon.

Good choice. I had a 2019 LT trail boss with every option at the time except moonroof, bought it new in 19, traded it right before the market went crazy because I wanted another SS. Kicking myself over that because I only paid $42K otd with all the incentives they had.

I agree with you on that. Wished I had bought earlier in 2021 when they were running a $6000 rebate and then they had another $5000 or $6000 rebate and $1000 voucher for accessories. I got it when it was a $4000 rebate and I get GMS (Employee Pricing) which really helps. Just sucks you cannot use GM Mastercard Points with GMS unless you are a GM Employee with a certain Capital One card.

Congrats on the new ride! I had my 2013 2LT since bought new and wanted a new 1LE but the chip shortage changed my mind and i ended up with a slightly used 17 2SS, still great car all around. Good luck with it!
