Ventilated RECAROS for the 1LE?

This is very interesting because the RPO code for the Recaro seats (AQJ) is the same for SS and ZL1. It requires the 1LE option. If the RPO code is the same for all models, then maybe the 1LE will have heated/ventilated seats after all. I will find out for sure next week at the Camaro Rally. Anybody have any concrete information?

AQJ Seats, front bucket, RECARO performance A1 A1 A2 A3 S 1 - Requires (A1X) LT 1LE Performance Package.
2 - Requires (H1T) Jet Black interior trim. Included with (A1Y) SS 1LE Performance Package.
3 - Requires (H0Y) Jet Black interior trim.

I didn't see the heat/ventilation switches on the SS 1LE show car. Rather have manual seats like the Z/28.

I wish this were the case, but I'm pretty sure it's not.

That does not look like a good omen! Maybe the fans are still in the seats and we just have to add switches. Maybe just wishful thinking. Cooled seats on a hot track day is a nice option. Thanks for the nice interior picture.

No there is no heated or cooled seating function on the 1LE. There are many 'whoa is me' threads about this.

I could care less about the heated portion, but ventilated would be nice. But, doubtful.

The only hope might be to get some take out seats from the ZL1(and I know the likey hood of this is slim to none, but maybe someone won't like them or will want something lighter or with pass through holes for a harness) and then I'm sure it would be easy as hell to sell the stock Recaros to somebody with and SS.

Funny that the 2LT can get option A1X (1LE) and AQJ (Recaros) and comes standard with the options of KA1 and KQV for heated and ventilated from seats.

Seems like 1SS people would unfairly get shafted losing that on their 1LE, even though the 2LT 1LE would have it.. and, it's not like they're choosing the lower trim car since 2SS doesn't allow for 1LE.

Guess we'll see, but I'm hoping that all cars with AQJ get heated/ventilated seats along with 2LT and 2SS w/o 1LE package.

Thats how I feel. I wonder how hard it would be to convert an SS 1LE to the 2LT 1LE seats.

Only thing I can think is that this was intentional to save weight.

Knowing GM all these options will be available at a later time if enough people show interest. I'd personally want to see a HP bump for the 1LE, but that's just me.
